Eyebrow Removal

First, I paint canvas black. Then, using a thumbtack, I pluck out individual threads of the canvas to remove color from the fabric and create the imagery. In this piece, I envision the canvas to be my skin and that I am pulling out my eyebrow hairs. I am mediating over the small, daily loss of my body.
